Book Your Stay for 5 Nights, Get to Ski Free for 4 Days!

This is a postcard from a ski resort in Banff offering free skiing for customers that stay in the resort for five days. They use pictures of the glaciers and people skiing to catch the readers eye, along with using a pull tab to get the reader to interact with the card.

This is a good example of efficient copywriting. The card displays the call to action and deadlines well and does not include too much bulk text.
Possibly the most exciting part of the offer is that it is worth over $2,300 but that is one of the smaller texts on the screen. They include a lot of great information but the placement and sizes of things could be changed as mentioned.
This is a great use of imagery and background with this card. It is very eye catching and blends together well. They also are using a pull tab to reveal a reward offer on the front of the card. This is a smart way to keep the recipient reading and engaged with the call to action.
The spacing and fonts look good, we would suggest taking out some of the paragraph text for better spacing.
The offer being large and in the top middle part of the card is textbook placement. This encourages the reader to interact further with the card and possibly take advantage of the offer.
The "Book Today" could be replaced by a more concrete deadline however. "Book by Nov. 31" feels more real than the overused "Book Today."
- Place the offer in large font in the middle of the card
- Eye catching imagery can help engage the reader
- Use a specific date to create urgency. Concrete call to action deadlines drive conversions

The back of this card shows the other section of the pull tab with the continued imagery from the front.
There is nothing in terns of copywriting on this side of the card. A good use for some of the empty space on this side of the card could have been the bulky description or terms and conditions of the offer that was on the front.

There is no offer on the back. Something as simple as "See other side for 4 days of free skiing" would be a good use of space.
