The copywriting gets the message of this postcard across efficiently. They include their tagline at the top section that lets the reader know what to expect for the rest of the card.
They make sure to include their website and general information about the election along with encouraging the reader to vote for these candidates. It is simple yet effective for a political postcard.
This is a rather plain design that generally serves its purpose well. The pictures paired with the candidates names really helps the reader want to look through and remember the message more.
As for the colors, they work well with the democratic party, however we would recommend changing the color of the names to a darker blue so that it is easier to read against the white background.
The "offer" for this card would be considered getting people to vote for these candidates and visit their website to learn more. These are both present but could stand to be bigger and a more noticeable part of the card.
We would consider replacing the slogan at the top of the card with the message to vote for these leaders that is currently in smaller font at the bottom of the postcard.
- Make sure your font is readable and pops off the background
- The headline should be short and scannable
- Simplicity can be effective

The back of this card provides some background information for some of the candidates that are on the front of the postcard. This allows the reader to feel more engaged with the party if they decide to read through this.
Listing the information below the pictures in bullet points would make it much more scannable.
The copy goes more in depth about a few of the candidates that are pictured on the front which can help provide more context for the reader. Something like "Want to learn more about SF's proven leaders?" would motivate the reader to dig deeper into this section rather than just scan over the same images.
