We Really Want to Ship You Your Next Box

Description

This is a near perfect win-back card. It's simple and shows that they noticed the absence of this customer. The image of their box is very recognizable and the generous amount of white space allows the reader to focus on the headline.

Our one critique to this card would be to include the first name. With win-backs the company usually has that customer data already stored. Might as well put it to use.

This is spot on for a win-back card. Just looking at the image of the box the customer will already know who this is from. The headline lets the reader know why they are being contacted. Simple and straightforward. They didn't try to get too clever.

Our only suggestion is to add some personalization. They obviously know customer X's information and that he/she canceled their subscription. Might as well use that data and include their first name. That would really catch their attention.

Design

Very simple and clean. The brand (image of the box) is recognizable and there is only eight total copy words.

This is a win-back postcard so they didn't need to explain what they do or what the offer is.

Key Takeaways
  • Win-back cards can be SUPER simple because the customer is already familiar with your brand
  • Surrounding one or two bolded lines with a ton of white space is a sure fire way to draw in attention
Description

Very simple postcard here. It doesn't need to be anything fancy because the customer if familiar with the brand and presumably what they stand for. They don't need to add a bunch of paragraphs of bullet points explaining all of that again. They went through that in the sales process.

This cards purpose is to remind the customer that they can always come back. Maybe they tried another razor and it ended up sucking. Well, this card comes in and reminds them they always have this option.

Copywriting

Fairly short copy. Basically in the nicest way possible they are saying "We know you canceled your subscription. Are you sure you don't want our super fresh razors?".
